- Use body language to manipulate others’ emotions
- Use an exploding offer to create panic in the other person
- Be willing to walk away
- Give as little as possible
Tips 3 and 5 are dangerous, because they can hurt relationships in the future. It’s better to make deals that are mutually beneficial. However, you will occasionally deal with ruthless people, so it pays to recognize their tactics and follow Tip 4.
