In this post I’m sharing another workout by Funk Roberts. He has become something of an evangelist for metabolic workouts; these are workouts in which you perform reps for a set amount of time, rather than do a certain number of reps at a certain weight. Rest periods are minimal. This helps the body build muscle and burn fat simultaneously. It’s not a quick transformation, but I have personally seen steady progress following Roberts’ workouts.
A word of caution: Wait an hour after eating and drinking before doing one of Funk’s workouts, or else you’ll get nauseous. I’ve had to cut workouts short so I wouldn’t throw up on my living room carpet. Otherwise, this is great, you’ll get a full body workout in less than 30 minutes.
